Description

Direct Current Brush-less Motor, NSN: 6105-01-462-7177, PN: 12900597. The Government intends to issue a 2-Yr Long-Term solicitation to SKURKA Aerospace INC, 4600 Calle Bolero, P.O. Box 2869, Camarillo, CA 93012-8575, for repair of Skurka Aerospace m otors only, as restricted under FAR 6.302-1 The Government intends to issue this solicitation requirement immediately to Skurka Aerospace INC. This synopsis is being published for contracting and subcontracting purposes, however offers from contractors oth er than noted above are not solicited. Currently this is a specific Controlled TDP and any company that would be interested in this procurement would first have to become a fully qualified source; would have to have intimate details and part knowledge of S kurka Aerospace motors and would be required to conduct an initial repair and subsequent test at your own costs, to include passing an Operational test on a Bradley Vehicle and meeting the required service dates for this procurement. Any proposal received will be reviewed and or evaluated. Please note that the Government does not intend to deviate or allow any extensions from the required service schedule. The FOB point is Origin. Item is for use on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) A3. Estimated i ssue date is 17 JAN 2008. This motor operates the TOW lift; the Gun Elevation; TOW Elevation and Turret Drive mechanisms. This solicitation will be restricted under FAR 6.302-1 and is issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102, therefore, ha rdcopies will not be provided.
