- Notice Of Intent To Award A Sole Source Contract The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole-source award with Orbit Communications Systems, Inc. 15340 E. Valley Blvd, City of Industry, CA., 91746, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This will be a commercial acquisition per FAR 12, subject to the availability of funds per FAR 52.232-18. The proposed contract action will be for the acquisition of two (2) each AL-362-1SYS 0.5 to 40 GHZ Spinning Antenna Assembly (SAA). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITI VE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals within 7 days of synopsis publication to the Contracting Office POC listed below. Information received will be considered solel y for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
