- Description
- The requirement consists of the contractor providing all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to support a ?one stop shop? Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) located on Dyess Air Force Base (AFB). The contractor shall acquire, issue, deliver, and store a variety of material, equipment, parts, tools, and supplies for construction, facility maintenance and repair, and lawn and garden equipment repair for use by authorized government personnel. The contract term will be a Base plus Four (4) Option periods. The set-aside for this requirement will be 100% Small-Business Set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 444130 with a small business size standard of $6,500,000.00. Contractors will be technically evaluated on their online ordering system and those contractors deemed technically acceptable with then be evaluated using Past Performance Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the best value to the Government. Past Performance is significantly greater than price. Please refer to FAR provision 52.212-2 ? Evaluation of Commerical Items for evaluation criteria. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Jan 2008 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Please refer to FAR provision 52.212-1 ? Instructions to Offerors on submission procedures. Paper copies will not be available. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to review the FBO website frequently for updates/amendments to any and all documents for this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for an award. The closing date and time for submission of offerors and site visit information will be contained in the solicitation package. A one-time site visit is scheduled for 6 February 2008 @ 9:00am CST.
