- The United States Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a requirement for a Top End Overhaul on the Main Diesel Generator Engine on the NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV, 166 Waters Street, Woods Hole, MA . This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The small business size standard is $6.5M average annual receipts. The NAICS code is 811310. The duration of the contract is one base period with zero options periods. The solicitation, notice, Statement of Work, Specifications, and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile or written request will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial item acquisition on or about January 17, 2008 utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. To be eligible for award the offeror must have a valid DUNS Number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration CCR) database.
