- Description
- The Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) intends to award a sole source modification against contract HEVAS6-07-P-0046 to Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES for services at the Pine Bridge School under authority for FAR 6.302 to provide one-on-one aide service to supplement a severe needs special education student. Putnam BOCES is the only known source capable of meeting DDESS's full requirement for comprehensive special education services in a highly structured education environment, as amended by the intended modification. This is not a request for competitive quotes. There is no Solicitation. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting DDESS's requirement may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. All submissions must be received by the response date and time of this notice. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. SEE UPLOADED DOCUMENT FOR JUSTIFICATION. Response Date: 1:00 P.M. EST. 17 January 2008.
