- Description
- The purpose of Amendment 0002 to SB3100-7309-3103 is to establish a closing date. A closing date of 3:00 PM EST, 17 January 2008 is hereby established. This requirement was for 38 each pressurized UR ion chamber survey meters with standard chambers, Victoreen Model 451P or equal. The required product specifications are: Instrument must be a portable hand-held and battery operated; should be light (ideally less than 3 lbs); design must be for rugged and normal environmental conditions as this instrument will be maintained and used in the distribution process. (Wide range of operating temperatures/humidity). Instrument must be Auto-ranging and Auto-zeroing; must be capable of measuring both dose rate and total dose simultaneously; must display instrument reading in both analog and digital formats to increase change in dose recognition and minimize recording errors; should have minimal warm-up times (ideally 2 minutes or less); should contain a RS232 port to allow for data retrieval for computer manipulation; Ionization chamber shall be a standard chamber, pressurized to 8 atmospheres (125 psi) Model Victoreen Model 451P or equal.
