******************Amendment 04************** Incorporate the following questions and answers: 1. Is the solicitation for janitorial services calling for the cement floors to be machine scrubbed quarterly? Answer: Yes. Plus, these floors are to be sweep/spot cleaned 5 times a week and these floors are to be cleaned/mop every two weeks. 2. How many days each office needs to be clean. Answer: Read requirements of Schedule of Articles/Statement of Work states what has to be cleaned and when. The offices are part of this requirement. 3. What will be the best time to clean the areas. Answer: Incorporate the statement that replaces all other direction on the matter: ?Unless other wise specified in these provisions or as directed by the contracting officer and/or COTR, janitorial services will be performed/completed during the hours of facility operation.? 4. What materials the company needs to bring, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies, please advise if I?m missing anything else. Answer: Read requirements of Schedule of Articles/Statement of Work states what has to be supplied (trash liners, all paper products, cleaning detergents, cleaning equipment/supplies, etc?). 5. What do we need to have to go in and out of the buildings. Answer: Read ?QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTOR AND CONTRACTOR?S EMPLOYEES? and the Solicitation. 6. When the new contract is going to be issue. Answer: Per the Solicitation. The Due date for quotes has not changed.*** *********************Amendment #03********************* *Incorporate the following Questions and Answers: 1. Bays E4/E5/E6 approximately 9,000 sq. ft. (Is the sq. footage reflected a total for the 3 Bays or each one is 9,000 sq. ft.) Answer: The total approximate square footage for bays E4/E5/E6 is 9,000 sq. ft.? 2. Do you know the population at each of the locations to quote? (This will help on the calculation of supplies)? Answer: Total staffing A-TCET On Board is 56 employees (which includes a staff of 3 at Vehicle Export-Amman Building). Future Full-staffing would be considered to be 90 employees. Base your quote on 70 employees. 3. Is there any specific time frame, such at day or night coverage to perform the duties? Answer: The SOW states cleaning shall be accomplished during the day. Only occasionally will work be allowed after hours (e.g. waxing floors), but this has to be approved by the COTR and if Government manning is not available, then work has to take place during the day. 4. What were the previous year costs for this service? The current cost is listed in the solicitation. This requirement is considered new as past requirements included other work areas and other work requirements. The Due Date for quotes is not changed. **************************Amendment #02***********The purpose of this modification is to define the square footage, provide a date for the 1 Site Visit (there will only be one Site Visit), and set a Due Date for quotes. 1. The following list of areas to be cleaned is a general statement and some areas may have less or more square footage. As a Site Visit will be conducted if you feel there are major errors in the measurements, you need to send a question to me, by e-mail so that is can be addressed through an Amendment. There will not be a modification to a future contract due to any minor measurement errors: Bays E4/E5/E6 approximately 9000 sq. ft. Bldg A Bay 2 approximately 22,000 sq. ft. bay/warehouse with bathrooms Southport VACIS approximately 60 sq. ft. RPM Booth Eller Drive approximately 60 sq. ft. RPM Booth McIntosh approximately 60 sq. ft. Vehicle Export Amman Building approximately 600 sq. ft. Note: there is a total of 6 bathrooms to be cleaned. 2. The Site Visit will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 10:00 am local time. All companies attending the Site Visit must first contract Deb Palacios, at (954) 761-2025. Failure to notify Deb at least 48 hours before Site Visit may bar your company from attending. 3. All companies must acknowledge all Amendment(s) issued with their quote. A company can state in their quote, We acknowledge __ Amendment(s) issued. 4. The new Due Date for submission of quotes is January 17, 2008. Quotes must be received by 3:00pm local time. All companies must re-submit their quotes, if they have sent in a quote based on Amendment number 1 or original solicitation. 5. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. ***** ****Amendment number 01 The Due Date is hereby cancelled. A new date will be stated in a future Amendment. Do NOT send in any quotations.** ***************************** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation Request for Quote (RFQ), Solicitation Number: RFQ 20034287 for commercial Custodial Service at Customs and Border Protection (CBP) 1800 Eller Drive, World Trade Center, Ft Lauderdale, FL 33316 in accordance with the Statement of Articles/Statement of Work (SOA/SOW) (6 pages), all clauses/provisions found in the document and FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The National American Industry Classification code is 561720, with a business size code of $15 million. CBP Ft Lauderdale intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Base with Three Option Year periods Purchase Order (PO) for custodial services as defined in the SOA/SOW. Quote shall be submitted to John P.
