- This Amendment has two purposes: The first purpose is to extend proposal deadline to 3:00pm Wednesday January 16, 2008. The second purpose is to clarify and provide the required license categories in accordance with the Statement of Work Section 1.2 Pest Control. The Maryland Department of Agriculture, Pest Regulation office has provided guidance for compliance with all state and federal laws pertaining to the Maryland Department of Agriculture. The following are applicable license categories and descriptions IAW the Statement of Work for pest control services in the state of Maryland: 3a Certificate for treatment of plant beds on the campus Treatment of ticks in the exterior places of campus( Area will be occupied with students on campus conducting physical training) medical importance pests 3c Certificate for treatment of turf on campus Treatment of ticks in the exterior turf areas of campus ( Area will be occupied with students on campus conducting physical training) medical importance pests 7a Certificate for treatment of general pest control Covers household pest, stored pest, miscellaneous pests 7b Certificate for treatment of wood destroying pests For ex. termites 7c Certificate for treatment of wildlife For ex. raccoon, skunks, snakes, bats, birds (handle without live traps) 7d Certificate for treatment of rodents For ex. rats/mice 8 Certificate for treatment of mosquitoes Category 5 certification for mosquitoes is not required Please adhere to the above requirements as all are required categories for Pest Control Services **All responsible Offerors shall submit proposal electronically to Charles James at charles.james@usss.dhs.gov or via fax at (202) 406-6801, to be received NLT 3:00pm Wednesday January 16, 2008** NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-JAN-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
