Description

The purpose of this amendment 1 is to answer questions. Proposals remain due by 5:00 pm EST on January 22, 2008. Question: 1- Section : BACKGROUND - Does the Medical Director (MD) have to be licensed in Maryland? Answer: No. Question: 2- SCOPE: - Are all instructors required to have Advanced Life Support Provider Training? Answer: Yes. Question: 3- SPECIFIC TASKS - Reference to your # 6 Does the Instructor have to respond to emergencies while on Campus and act as a Paramedic? Answer: Yes, as needed. Question: Would he/She be required to leave their teaching post? Answer: Yes, as needed. Question: 4- GENERAL STIPULATIONS - Are any or all instructors required to have a security clearance? Answer: The basic security clearance for access to campus is all that is required, which is not the same as a security clearance. Offerors are reminded that to be cleared for access, each person must hold U.S. citizenship and not have a felony record. Please email a request for a sample USSS contractor access form.
