- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego intends to issue a solicitation for the engineering, technical, logistical and management services. The requirements are to provide life-cycle engineering and technical support for TACTICAL DATA LINK and related systems. The major areas of support include: systems engineering, systems integration, test support, fleet sustentation, software engineering, training, integrated logistics support, configuration management, installations and project management support. The estimated level of effort is approximately 141,500 hours per year. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract with a cost-plus fixed fee (CPFF) pricing arrangement is anticipated. The Government anticipates awarding a multiple-award contract pursuant to the criteria of the RFP. The planned period of performance is one base year, two one-year options and four six-month award terms for a maximum total of five years. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is currently anticipated that Solicitation N66001-08-R-0074 regarding this requirement will be released on or about January 31, 2008. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central web site at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil, under Business Opportunities, SSC SAN DIEGO, "Open Solicitations." The solicitation will only be available electronically at this web site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically monitor the SPAWAR E-Commerce page for updates and new listings. A bidders mailing list will not be established.
