- The Government intends to negotiate a Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The contractor shall provide packing, crating, drayage of household goods as required by Naval Support Activity Mid-South, Personal Property Division, Millington, TN. The area of performance consist of: Tennessee counties of Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Chester, Hardeman, Haywood, Henderson, McNairy, Madison, Dyer, Gibson, Lauderdale and Crockett; Arkansas counties of Cross, St. Francis, Lee, Woodruff, Monroe, and Phillips; and Mississippi counties of De Soto, Marshall, Panola, Tate, Tunica, Alcorn, Benton, Coahoma, Lafayette, Prentiss, Quitman, Tippah, Tishomingo, and Union. This is a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 484210. Solicitation N00189-08-R-M001 is for a base period with four additional one-year option periods. The period of performance is from 1 April 2008 throug h 31 March 2009 plus four one-year option periods. The solicitation shall be issued on or around 29 January 2008. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registra tion in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
