Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting qualifications for Web support services for the Northeast Region. The Region encompasses the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. This project is designed to respond to the need for installation of cascading style sheets and templates; development and maintenance of new and existing web sites; and support for installation, configuration, and use of Adobe Acrobat Professional. Contractors will be expected to be functionally competent in the coding of hypertext markup language and JavaScript. Regional web sites include, but are not limited to, static HTML-coded pages and MS Word, Excel, and portable document files. Assignments will be uploaded as drafts to a Service development server for approval, followed by upload to production server. Work will be accomplished from a remote site, but may require travel to the Regional Office located in Hadley, MA, for planning and review. The Government intends to award multiple indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for a term of one base year and one option year. The magnitude of this project for each of the two years is between $25,000. and $100,000. Task Orders will be negotiated for each assignment based on hourly level of effort for each task. Travel, if any, shall be in accordance with the current rates for federal employees. Persons performing work related to this project must cooperate in a background security investigation by agents of the U.S. Government. Neither the contractor nor any person acting of its behalf will access or attempt to access Service servers or directories on those servers without having been personally cleared through the background security investigation. Contractors will be evaluated based on the following factors: (1) Past Performance experience with similar work; (2) Technical capabilities needed to perform services; and (3) Price. Personnel hourly rates are requested to be included with proposal information.
