- The purpose of this modification is to change the solicitation posting and closing dates, please see below. No other changes have been made. Solicitation Number NAR080043 applies and will be issued as a Request for Proposals for the following services: GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: General - The purpose of this contract is to secure services for herbicide spraying. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, supplies, and incidentals; and perform all work necessary to complete application of Government-furnished herbicide (glyphosate) in accordance with the Detailed Specifications in the solicitation, and the Herbicide Label. Application areas are as follows: Bear Den Butte located approximately 20 miles east of Carey, Idaho in Blaine County - 19,078 acres. Kimama 3 located approximately 22 miles north of Burley, Idaho in Minidoka County - 2,606 acres. Shoestring located approximately 4 miles south of Gooding, Idaho in Gooding County - 3,388 acres. Estimated start date is April 2, 2008 with a performance period of 10 calendar days to be concluded no later than May 16, 2008. Optional applications for each area may be required. The optional period, if exercised, would commence on approximately May 1, 2008 with a performance period of 10 calendar days to be concluded no later than June 10, 2008. Performance must be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 115112. Size standard is $6.5 million. The Government intends to award this contract on an all-or-none basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 25, 2008. Proposals are due February 7, 2008 by 11:00 AM Mountain Time. Proposals shall include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule including unit price, 2) Applicator's experience and Company experience, 3) Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the Solicitation, 4) Completed 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Nov 2007) (accessible at http://www.arnet.gov/far/) or or statement of registration in ORCA (accessible at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx), 5) Include TIN and DUNS Number, and 6) Offer must be signed.
