- Rhonda Goolsby, Contract Specialist, (256) 876-1785 or Zina Smith, Contracting Officer, (256) 842-0742 - The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) plans to award a sole-source procurement to Sir siDynix, 400 West Dynix Drive, Provo, UT 84604, to provide software maintenance for the Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC) SIRSI Integrated Library System (ILS): Model # III ($17,938); Model #IV ($43,224); and Model # Hyperion C/UNCL ($6,855) f or one year from 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2008. (See Note 22) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this not ice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W31P4Q-08-P-0130 is being issued as a request for quote; however, the US Army Aviation and Missile Com mand intends to issue a sole source contract to Sirsi Corporation , Provo, UT, for the renewal of the system maintenance agreements. All the operations of RSIC are performed on the SIRSI ILS computer systems from the ordering to cataloging to circulating of material. The system utilizes propriety software developed and copyrighted by Sirsi Corporation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. The place of deli very, acceptance, and FOB point is Redstone Scientific Information Center, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898, Attn: AMSAM-RD-AS-I-RSIC /Paul Fritts. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency, if received by 17 January 2 008, noon (CST). Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on DD Form 1155 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the doll ar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contr act Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition.
