- Description
- The 316th Contracting Squadron, wishes to procure services for a Assistant Education Advisor at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This will be a 100% set-aside for small businesses. This requirement will result in a firm fixed price contract with a one-year basic contract and two (2) one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710 with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. This is a request for proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The basic for award will be best value source selection in which competing offerors? past performance history wil be evaluated on a basic significantly more importantly than cost or price consideration. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 15 Jan 08 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in CCR may do so by calling 1-800-334-3141 or by visiting http://www.ccr.gov/. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
