- The VA Network 22 Logistic Office intends to negotiate a sole source procurement (VA 664-08-1-8145-0021 ) in accordance with Far Part 13 with Health Science Systems under authority of Far 6.302-1. This procurement is for Data Management services performed by Dr. Mark Slater. These services are needed for a research project conducted by Dr. Atkinson. Dr. Slater is a leader in the field of chronic lower back pain research and is able to provide the unique strategies necessary for analyzing the kind of data collected in the research study. Health Science Systems is the only vendor that can provide the unique data management services required by this project. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. The Government will consider all quotes received by 12:00 PM, January 16, 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in facsimile at 562-961-1379.
