- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate a sole source procurememt for a Temporary Administrative Officer for the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Service with Connie Goodyear, Richmond, VA through June 13, 2008. The principle duties require the planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of diagnostic radiologic procedures for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Service, as well as supporting the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Operation, and speech recognition dictation system. Provides training to include refresher training, if needed, for the Radiology Technologist staff to use computer functions of digital imaging equipment to insure proper transfer of images to the PACS network, and to trouble-shoot errors. This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The NAICS Code is 621512 $12.5M. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
