- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive commercial item contract to Fremont County Ambulance, 1052 Petersdorf Drive, Riverton, Wyoming 82501. The contract is for the provision of Advanced Life Support level of Ground Ambulance Services for eligible Indian beneficiaries on the Wind River Indian Reservation including Fremont, Hot Springs, and Sublette Counties. The procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (10 U.S.C. 2304(g) and 2305 and 41 U.S.C. 253(g) and 253a and 253b), FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)), and FAR 6.302-1. See Numbered Note 22. Fremont County Ambulance is the sole provider of these services within a 55 mile radius. The period of performance shall be for a base year with four 12-month options. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is January 28, 2008. The offer shall be submitted to the Billings Area Indian Health Service, 2900 Fourth Avenue North, Room 304, Billings, Montana 59101, no later than 2:00 p.m., on February 15, 2008. The offer must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to this office, showing the time specified for receipt, the solicitation number, and Company name and address.
