- The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is requesting proposals in accordance with the requirement of Request for Quotation (RFQ)-COM-08-13, for podiatry services for the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Health Care Center, Sisseton, South Dakota. The contract podiatrist shall provide foot care to patients one and one-half (1 1/2) weekdays per month, 144 hours a year, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (10 U.S.C. 2304(g) and 2305 and 41 U.S.C. 253(g) and 253a and 253b), FAR subpart 37.4, and Non-personal Health Care Service (10 U.S.C 2304 & 41 U.S.C. 253), FAR subpart 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)), and FAR subpart 37.6, Performance-Based Contracting. The IHS reserves the right to make a single award or multiple awards whichever is most advantageous to the Government. This acquisition is restricted to 100 % small business concerns. This RFQ will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website for you to access and submit an offer. If you are unable to access it you may request a copy from this office. The response date and time is 2:00 pm, January 28, 2008.
