- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Brand Name only (see attached Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition) commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement. Solicitation DE-RQ65-08WG37804 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Code (NAICS) is 335921 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. FAR Clause/Provisions, 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation ??? Commercial Items. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price-related factors. Technical specification compliance and price when combined are slightly more important when compared to past performance. Contractor shall submit with their offer, 2 (two) copies of information data of product offered, in addition to at least 3 (three) references for past performance for the intention of offer evaluation. Offerors should include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ???
