- Description
- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to award a sole source purchase order using simplified acquistion procedures to Statistics Canada for the following service: Contractor to provide a data file for the reconciliation of Canadian marine trade and transport statistics for the arrivals from the United States, for the months of January 2007, through October 2007. It is believed that Statistics Canada is the sole provider of these data, although interested parties may identify thier interest and capabilities in response to this requirement before COB of the closing date of this announcement, January 25th, 2008, to Lisa Safewright by email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov, or by fax to 301-763-4149. No telephone inquiries will be honored. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. No solicitation document exists and requests for such document will be considered non responsive.
