- Description
- This publication serves as notice of intent to procure supplies for the Department of Commerce(DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Fish Ecology Division on a sole source basis with Biomark Incorporated in accordance with the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) "Only one responsible source". Using FAR Part 15, (Contracting by Negotiation) and FAR Subpart 12.6 (Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items) procedures the Government intends to procure two Model FS1001M transceivers with associated installation hardware, installation of the equipment into the John Day River, operation and maintenance (O&M) of the equipment for the remainder of FY 08, and O&M option years for FY 09 & FY 10. Biomark Incorporated is the sole source and exclusive distributor of Destron Fearing Technologies, the manufacturer of FS1001M in the United States and Canada for fisheries and wildlife.
