- Description
- The Government anticipates award of a performance based service contract for establishing and collecting vegetation plot data on the Mark Twain National Forest, Missouri. The location of 2008 contract work is on the Salem/Potosi Ranger Districts. Subsequent year plots are located on the Ava/Cassville, Eleven Point, Houston/Rolla, Potosi/Fredericktown, and Poplar Bluff units of the Mark Twain National Forest and not necessarily in that order. Contract to include a base year with four (4) additional option years. The estimated starting date is February 15, 2008. Completion and acceptance of work for base year will be no later than 12/30/2008. This is a Request for Proposals which will result in an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract. This project is set aside 100% for small businesses. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541370 with a size standard of $4.5 million. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on the initial offer. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.
