Description

The Contractor shall furnish a truck mounted drill / earth auger that meets the required specification requirements to the Bureau of Reclamation. All equipment shall be standard catalog product of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the manufacture of such equipment and shall be the latest standard design that conforms to the specification requirements. The price range for the work is $250,000 - $500,000. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available on or around January 22, 2008, and quotes are tentatively due in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101 on or before 2:00 pm on February 11, 2008. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order for $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The acquisition will be full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333132. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3533. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The specifications will not be posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To receive a copy of the RFQ, contractors shall fax a request to the Bureau of Reclamation, attention Hart Blackeagle at (406) 247-7798. The fax must include the contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, federal tax identification number, and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All representations and certifications which used to appear in Section K are now located online. To complete your online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), contractors must go to http://orca.bpn.gov.
