Description
The work consists of dredging approximately 1,175,000 cubic yards of maintenance material using a pipeline dredge. Material will be deposited in unconfined and confined, Brazos River placement and surf zone discharge. The area has critical shoaling and is expected to be worse during the winter months: northern wind will exacerbate draft restriction. Estimated completion time is 75 calendar days. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 29 February 2008. The estimated cost range for this p roject is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 million and will be advertised, UNRESTRICTED. These goals reflect the Fiscal Year (FY) 07 requirements.
