- Park Attendant Services, Melvern Lake, Kansas. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to solicit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a firm-fixed price service contract to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materia ls, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Park Attendant Services at the Melvern Lake - Outlet Park, Melvern, Kansas. The contract will include 1 base year (period of performance 01 Apr 08 through 31 Oct 08) and a 1 year option (period of performance 01 Apr 09 through 31 Oct 09). This will be a best value acquisition. An award will be made based on the best value to the government, and not based on price alone, in accordance with FAR Part 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commer cial Items . The evaluation factors of Experience, Past Performance, and Price will weigh equally in determining the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be a 100% total small business set-aside. NAICS code is 721211; and the size st andard is $6,500,000. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation package will be issued in electronic format on the website, www.fbo.gov on or about January 18, 2008 with quotes due on or about February 4, 2008. Bids will be accepted from all i nterested responsible and responsive parties. Please reference DOD DFARS Clause 252.204-7302, Required Central Contractor Registration. Prospective contractors must be registered on the CCR prior to contract award. You may register by going to w ww.ccr.gov. According to the language in FAR case 2002-024, vendors are required to use ORCA beginning 1 January 2005.
