Description
It is desired that the power units also be capable of being fueled with JP8 fuel. The power units shall provide compressed air, electric, hydraulic power for continuous duty use by heavy duty hand held power tools. The power units shall operate a min imum of 6 hours on a single tank of fuel and shall include an external fuel kit for each power unit that allows the drawing of fuel from an outside fuel source while in operation. Each unit shall provide 120 volts AC (60Hz) at a minimum of 5000 Watts; two hydraulic tool circuits with adjustable flow of 0 to 10 gallons per minute (GPM)@ 2000 pounds per square inch (PSI); and Compressed Air up to 80 cubic feet per minute (CFM) @ 110 PSI. Each power unit shall have two fully adjustable hydraulic tool circuits providing 0-10GPM at 2000PSI each with industry standard dripless quick disconnect couplings appropriate for the hydraulic tooling specified. The quick disconnect couplings shall produce a minimal back pressure to keep overall back pressure as low as possi ble. The hydraulic circuits shall provide fluid filtering adequate for the tooling specified. The power units shall be no larger than 63 inches long x 35 inches wide x 40 inches high and weight no more than 1,550 pounds (including max fuel, max hydraulic f luid and all other operating fluids at recommended levels). THE OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE OF THE POWER UNIT SHALL BE RATED FOR USE BETWEEN -25 AND 120 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. THE CONTRACTOR WILL SUPPLY INFORMATION STATING THE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF THE POWER U NIT. The COTS tool load must be able to interface with power units. The manufacturer will adhere to the DFP to ensure that the power unit will meet the Government's requirements for the HEPPPOE Tool Set. Please note FEDBIZOPS not ice for HEPPOE under class code 51. Please note, POC is Roxanne Spurgetis, 309-782-4886, roxanne.spurgetis@us.army.mil. Interested parties may request a copy of the Descripton for Purchase (DFP) by contacting Roxanne Spurgetis.
