Description
The purchase of 12,000 yards of fabric must conform to the specifications as per Natick Laboratory Purchase Description #370A dated 8 April 1975 and as revised by the USMA dated 18 December 2007. These specifications will be attached to the bid when posted in Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) for all potential vendors to review. Finished Mock Elastique cloth will be used to manufacture USMA Cadet Mock Elastique Trousers and Skirts worn by the United States Corps of Cadets attending the United States Military Academy. Trousers and skirts made from this cloth are worn during the more temperate seasons in lieu of trousers made from 19oz, 100% worsted wool Cadet Gray Elastique Cloth. The 19oz worsted wool Cadet Gray cloth is the sole shell cloth used for Cadet Dress Uniform Coats. The Mock Elastique cloth is intended to mimic or mock the appearance of the 19oz Cadet Gray 100% worsted wool Cadet Gray Elastique cloth. Expected delivery is to be FOB West Point NLT 22 September 2008. This will be an unrestr icted procurement. The solicitation (IFB) will be posted in ASFI on or about 23 January 2008 and will remain open for 30 calendar days. The successful contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov and ORC A www.bpn.gov. Contractor must comply with applicable FAR and DFARS clauses to include 252.225-7001 with respect to Buy American Provisions and others commonly known as the Berry Amendment. Manufactured products must be from domestic sources.
