- Description
- The site visit and pre-proposal conference will be held 15-16 January 2008. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. in Bldg. 18000, conference room located on the first floor, Camp Roberts, CA. This is a closed military installation and those wishing to participate in the site visit and pre-proposal conference must contact the COR, Donald Martin, or alternate COR Mr. Ronald Ames by close of business 14 January 2008. The Government will be responsible for providing transportation while on the SATCOM Stat ion Camp Roberts Teleport Facility for the actual site visit. The COR can provide you wi th additional directions if required and can answer any general questions you may have regarding the site visit. Attendance shall be limited to no more than two representatives per firm. SECRET CLEARANCE DESIRED. UNCLEARED VISITORS WILL BE PROVIDED ESCORT S. Visit request and Clearance Access Certification are required prior to attending the site visit. The contractor must fill out a NETCOM Form 380 5-4, dated November 2002 and submit a copy to Donald Martin at 805-227-7603 or e-mail at Donald.Martin7@us.ar my.mil. Entrance shall be made through Main Gate on the West side of U.S. HWY 101 (Exit 244), approximately 15 miles North of Paso Robles. Provide proper ID, matching visito rs request to guards and obtain vehicle pass at MP station. All vehicles are subject to search upon entry to Camp Roberts military reservation. Follow SATCOM / SATCOMSTA signs to the SATCOM Station / Teleport Facility. The facility is located approximat ely six miles southwest of the Main Gate on East Perimeter Road. Visitor ID checks, screening and vehicle searches may be conducted at both the Camp Roberts Main gate and SATCOM Teleport Facility gate. Offerors shall provide gate guards with POC informat ion and comply with all orders. Failure make required arrangements shall result in denial of access to the facility. Upon arrival at the SATCOM Station gate, Offerors shall park as directed by the gate guard. ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED IN BUI LDING 18000 AND SHALL BE SECURED IN INDIVIDUAL VEHICLES. (This includes, but is not limited to: commercial wireless network devices, Portable Electronic Devices (PED), laptop computers,, cellular/Personal Communications System (PCS) devices, audio/video re cording devices, scanning devices, remote sensors, messaging devices, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), and any other devices capable of storing, processing, or transmitting information.), and shall be secured in individual vehicles. Upon entry to buildi ng 18000, each offeror shall surrender one driver's license, or other official form of identification, which will be secured in a storage box for the duration of the stay. All offerors shall sign into the Visitor Log Book. Upon request to exit the facili ty, offerors shall surrender all documentation in their possession for review and screening for Classified information. Once documentation has been deemed Unclassified as appropriate to contract requirements, identification shall be returned. Offeror's s hall exit via the building 18000 front door. Offerors shall only exit through the Building 18000 front door, and under no circumstances shall any offeror exit through any side access, or Communications access doors. Questions received at the site visit w ill be considered and addressed, if feasible, depending on the nature of the question. Notwithstanding, all questions must be submitted to the contracting officer and contracting specialist by e-mail so that a written response to all questions may be subs equently provided to all Offerors via the Army Single Face to Industry, web page at http://acquisition.army.mil or FedBizOps web page at http://www.fedbizopps.g ov/.
