- Description
- This task provides engineering services to investigate OP/VV issues with the ALR-56 Down Converters to increase the availability, reliability, and maintainability of the system?s line replaceable unit (LRU). The contractor shall investigate alternatives for the repair or replacement of the SRUs and subassemblies in the system?s LRU and present these alternatives at a design review. The contractor shall build, as a minimum, two (2) prototypes of each updated SRU to validate the design?s performance against the ALR-56 specification. Requirement is sole source to BAE Corporation (CAGE code 814136) based on FAR 6.302-1, Only one source can satisfy the government?s requirement. Period of performance is 24 months. Delivery Order will be placed against the Corporate Contract# F09603-03-D-0001. Any other offeror shall contact the PCO or Tommy Peacock at tommy.peacock@robins.af.mil. Letter RFP will be issued to BAE, Contractor?s may request copies from the PCO.
