- Description
- The US Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA), is soliciting proposals to perform the initial application processing functions on behalf of the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (FLC) and the various programs they administer at our National Processing Centers in Chicago, Illinois and Atlanta, Georgia. The successful offeror under this solicitation must demonstrate a firm commitment to working harmoniously and cooperatively with OFLC Federal staff and any other contractors on site and to react quickly to resolve conflicts or other problems, which may have any adverse effect on a productive working environment. The period of performance for the prospective award will be twelve (12) months from the date of contract execution plus four 1-year options. A Time and Materials type contract is contemplated being awarded under this solicitation. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO MAKE A SINGLE AWARD UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. This solicitation is an 8(a) 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The 8(a) Program -- named for Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act -- is a business development program created to help small disadvantaged businesses compete in the market place. The 8(a) program is administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561311, with a $6.5 million size standard. Requests for Proposals will be available on the FedBizOpps site at www.fedbizopps.gov, and the DOL site at http://www.doleta.gov/sga/rfp.cfm, approximately 15 days from the date of publication. Request for Proposals in hard copy form will not be available. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be March 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., local time. Requests for proposals must cite DOL081RP20142. Proposals are to be sent and/or hand delivered to the above contracting office address to the attention of Ms. Deborah Campbell. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. No collect calls will be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the websites for any amendments made to this solicitation.
