- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE, for the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, Tampa Florida. This is a synopsis for commercial services per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number 673-40-07. Solicitation issue date on or about 16 February 2007, with proposals due approximately 21 days thereafter. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621910, size standard $6.5M. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide ambulance service for VA beneficiaries. Period of performance: 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, with two 1-year option periods. Contractor must be licensed by Hillsborough County (FL) and the state of Florida, as applicable, to perform trips ordered by the Tampa James A. Haley Veterans’ hospital. All necessary solicitation documents may be obtained at the following website after 16 February: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov./, using the solicitation number (673-40-07).
