- Description
- The Social Security Administration intends to modify an existing purchase order with Corporate Executive Board, (2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 6000, Washington DC 20006) to acquire an additional membership entitled, CIO Executive Board for a 9 month period beginning January 2008 through September 2008. Under FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible source and No other Supplies or Sources will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13 will be used. Corporate Executive Board is the only known source that can provide these services. Corporate Executive Board is recognized world-wide for providing best practices research studies; decision support tools; executive training; customized research briefs and web-based access to program content data based for Information Technology. This membership will help the agency achieve its strategic priorities by connecting the most senior executives with appropriate resources provided by Corporate Executive Board's Executive Council. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to acquire additional membership with the Corporate Executive Board. Requests for copies of a solicitation in responses hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. If an acceptable response is not received within 5 business days of this announcement, an order will be issued to the Corporate Executive Board.
