- Description
- NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for an Off Axis Ellipse Mirror. Physical Parameters: 1. Physical size = 100mm diameter; 2. Clear aperture diameter = 90.0 mm; 3. Radius of curvature = 600.0 mm (23.622"); 4. Conic constant = -0.9465923 (0 = sphere, -1 = parabola); 5. Off axis distance = 100.0 mm (3.937") from parent axis to center of aperture); 6. Wavefront error: lambda/20 rms surface figure at 633 nm, over clear aperture; 7. Scratch/Dig: 60/40; 8. Coating: aluminum mag fluoride or aluminum SiO2 (whichever gives highest average reflectivity over a bandpass of 345-1600 nm). This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See note 26. The anticipated release date of RFQ NNG08228865Q is on or about January 02, 2008 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about January 23, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
