- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System intends to award a firm fixed price contract for programmer services for the Center for Healthcare Knowledge Management (CHEKOM). The work is to be performed on-site at East Orange New Jersey Campus. Travel is not expected. The contractor/contractor employee shall meet the qualifications and shall have the capacity to perform the services outlined within the Request for Quotation Document. The contractor/contractor employee will work for various principal investigators who are under the CHEKOM, which is a VA Central Office Health Services Research Development (HSRD) Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP). Work hours will likely range from 15 to 30 hours per week between the CORE hours of Monday through Friday, 10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. A commitment to four (4) days per week is preferable. At times, work hours on a Saturday or Sunday will be required as per the data analyses needs of the investigators (e.g. deadlines). This procurement is restricted to Veteran Owned Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 541720 with size standard $6.5M. The solicitation will be available o/a January 02, 2008 with quotations due January 11, 2008 by 3:00p.m. E.S.T. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Completed Request for Quotation Document is to be submitted either electronically with Form 1449 signed with handwritten signature or by mail. Any amendments issued will also be posted on the website and it is the offeror's responsibility for obtaining any amendments. The Contract period will be from date of award through September 30, 2008 with a Government option to extend the term for four (4) additional 1-year option periods.
