- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Eastern Region Acquisition Division intends to issue a solicitation for a time and materials task order for the development and implementation of a web-based Days at Sea (DAS) software system in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on November 20, 2007 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be EA133F-08-RQ-0064; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. This RFQ will be issued as a small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541511, and the small business size standard is $23 million. This acquisition will include an estimated completion date one year from the date of award. The scope of work includes assisting with on-going improvements and maintenance of the DAS software program. Any contract award resulting from this RFQ will be made to the responsible vendor whose conformance to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
