- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of upcoming project 08-8404, Replace Carpet with VCT Tile in Buildings M518 & M321 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision to replace the lounge carpet with VCT tile. M518 has been identified as not having asbestos containing material. M321 has been identified as containing asbestos mastic. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state and base regulations governing the removal, abatement and disposal of asbestos containing material. The Contractor shall dispose of all debris properly at the Base Landfill. A complete list of specifications will be included in the solicitation.
