- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm fixed price (FFP) award, using authority under FAR 6.302-1, to Raytheon Company Space and Airborne Systems (Raytheon), El Segundo, CA for a hardware kit procurement to increase the memory capacity and processing capability of the APG-73 radar system in order to support future software improvements. The kits will include the following hardware: Stretch Waveform Generator, Single Module Processing Element and Motion Sensor Subsystem. The quantities to be procured range from a minimum of 15 kits to a maximum of 38 kits with a planned initial delivery date of August 2009 at a minimum rate of 4 kits per month. Additionally, the Navy anticipates procuring the specific technical data relative to the above identified kits.
