- Seattle District requires miscellaneous environmental resource studies concerning environmental resources and challenges at civil and military locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. This includes site-specific resource field ex aminations, field sampling, monitoring, data analysis, environmental planning and impact assessment, and multimedia environmental compliance assessment and follow-up. The project purpose is to augment District expertise with technical and logistic support , including intern and entry-level technical aid in all disciplines, execution of established field and laboratory sampling and data collection protocols, logistical support for field studies, literature searches, telephone inquiries, basic drafting, devel opment of visual aids and photography. Anticipation is of award of a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract including a base period and two option periods. The value of each period shall not exceed $500,000.00. Th e total potential value of the contract shall not exceed $1,500,000.00. The guaranteed minimum order amount for each period shall be $25,000.00. Project is open to both large and small business. The North American Industry Classification System (N AICS) Code is 541620 with a size standard of $6.5 million. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $6.5 million. If your firm is a large business and your proposal price total meets or exceeds $500,000 a subcontracting plan is required with your proposal. Issue of this solicitation will be via FedTeds: ww w.fedteds.gov, in electronic format only. No disks or hard copy will be available. Follow the registration procedures at this site and www.fedteds.gov to receive notification of solicitation/amendment posting. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Reg ulations (FAR), the solicitation will be available for download no earlier than 15 days following the posting of this synopsis. Pursuant to FAR, the response date of the solicitation is no earlier than 30 days from the date of the solicitation release dat e. The proposal due date will be noted on the solicitation at the time of issue. There is no technical information available until the issue of the solicitation via the Internet.
