- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to issue a correction to the magnitude of the project as indicated. The government shall be issuing a solicitation on or about December 28, 2007 for a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract in Chariton County, Missour i. This construction project is for PL 84-99 levee repairs on the Missouri River Levee System, Lower Chariton River Levee Unit. Work shall consist of excavation of earthen embankment materials, replacement and recompaction, construction of earthen berm, se eding, fertilizing and mulching, and aggregate surfacing to repair embankment slope failures; and exc avation/regrading, seeding fertilizing and mulching to repair erosion damaged slopes. THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $250,000.00 AND $500,000.00 . The NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $31,000,000.00. Packets will be made available through either the FedTEDs website at www.fedteds.gov or at the site visit which is tentatively scheduled for the week of January 14, 2008. The exact date, ti me, and location will be provided in the solicitation. Please note that to be eligible for award of this project, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the CCR website which is www.ccr.gov. Additionally you must co mplete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at the ORCA website which is or ca.bpn.gov. Solicitations must be received at the Contracting Office by 10:00 AM (local time) on January 30, 2008 in Room 748. Please note that if you are hand del ivering your solicitation package, you must enter through security. Any untimeliness due to problems get ting past security is at the risk of the vendor. The bid opening room (Room 748) shall not be opened until 9:30 AM. The government is tenat ively planning on maintaining a bidders list which will be posted to www.nwk.usace.army.mil/contract/c ontract.html for this project.
