Description
The U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources capable of designing, fabricating, and installing the following explosive loading equipment: 10-gallon Explosives Melt Kettle, 25-gallon Explosives Melt Kettle, 50-gallon Explosives Melt Kettle, 75-gallon Explosives Melt Kettle, 150-gallon Explosives Melt Kettle, Explosives Screeners, Safeline Explosives Inspection System, 4-Nozzle Explosives Pour Machine, 16-Nozzle Explosives Pour Machine, Metal Parts Preheat Oven, M107/M795 HE Projectile Cooling Ovens, Rotoclones, Sandvik Explosives Belt Flaker Explosives Grid Melters, HE Projectile Steam Heated Autoclave, Solids Flow Weigh Loss Explosive Flake Feeder, High Speed Deluge System, Brabender Explosive Service Rated Screw Feeders, Explosives Injection Loading System, High Capacity Vacuum Manifold System, 30-Gallon Cast cure loading and mixing system, Cast Cure post cycle heating ovens. The contractor should provide information about their knowledge of the above explosive loading equipment, should provide information about their knowledge and experience designing explosive processing equipment, and should provide information about their understanding of the production of munitions and munition components. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company???s capabilities including organizations and name/address/point of contact identification. It is also required to provide a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e- mail address, business size, DUNS number, CAGE Code, and capabilities. All responding sources must submit their responses no later than 14 January 2008 to: Department of the Army, ATTN: Mr. Pete Vincenti, AMSML-AQ-CA, JM&L LCMC Acquisition Center, Building 9, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806. Responses can also be submitted by email to peter.vincenti@us.army.mil. Large files need to be compressed using WinZip (http://www.winzip.com). All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government and will be held in confidential status. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), solicitation, or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. This is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published.
