- Effective as of 30 Nov 2007, government contractors are required to use a valid Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate to access Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV AF). This requirements is being implemented in accordance with DoD security policy, DODI 8520.2, PKI and Public Key (PK) Enabling, 1 Apr 04, to ensure secure electronic transactions.
