- Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport LA, requires board certified or board eligible general surgeon physicians to serve on a weekly or biweekly rotating basis, as the attending surgeon on-call, and to provide general surgical services based on the patient care needs of the OBVAMC. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price contract and is anticipated to be a Request For Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of a commercial item. Anticipated issue date is January 5, 2007 and anticipated date for receipt of offers is February 7, 2007. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 622110.
