- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of this synopsis/solicitation is to inform the vendor community of DISA?s proposed contract actions. DISA intends to award this acquisition as firm-fixed-price and solicited on a Brand Name, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or authorized/qualified reseller basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Matching existing hardware/software equipment justifies the use of the brand name for maintenance and support. Offers will be accepted only from OEMs or authorized/qualified resellers. Offers from other than OEM or authorized/qualified resellers will be deemed unresponsive and will not be evaluated. The solicitation/reference number is DGEMC88504-R-08 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The associated North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541511. The small business size standard is $23.0M. Offeror must be registered on the Contractor Central Registration (CCR). This acquisition is firm-fixed-price for an acquisition maintenance renewal for supportive services for the Digital Video Broadcast-Return Channel Satellite (DVB-RCS) hub located in Landstuhl, Germany. This interface was developed by Advantech, based on a DISA requirement. This is an all-or-none requirement. Partial proposals will be deemed unresponsive and will not be evaluated. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror.
