Description
The Department of Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Palo Alto, hereby solicits proposals for the following: Services non-personal to provide all materials, parts, labor, transportation and equipment to remove the existing Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) APC Symetra and batteries system, purchase and install a new Powerware 9155 15kVA system or equal at the Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto facility. Work will include but is not limited to removal and replacement. Contractor shall install external battery modules capable of runtime of 2hr 8min at full load and 4 hr at half load, install rear UPS mount Maintenance Bypass Module and connect UPS SNMP with Environmental Monitor Remote Notify. The Powerware 9155 is the preferred system. If contractor is proposing an equal product they must identify it below and contractor is responsible for all modifications to ensure proper operation. Contractor will make all needed electrical and other repairs that are directly related to the removal of old equipment/parts and installation of new replacement equipment/parts. Contractor will have the capability of providing on site recommended service for a period of 2 years to include on-site startup, full on-site corrective maintenance coverage which includes materials, labor, travel, shipping and expenses. Upon completion contractor shall demonstrate proper operation and features of new UPS system to VA staff. This solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Businesses.
