- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Preparedness, Detection and Control of Infectious Diseases (NCPDCID), Division of Scientific Resources (DSR) is seeking to award a sole source commercial Purchase Order for renewal of annual licensing agreements and maintenance for proprietary Accelrys software used by scientists throughout the CDC and in Biotechnology Core Facility. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the Government has determined that Accelrys, San Diego CA, is the only responsible source to satisfy this requirement. The Government intends to award by 30 December 2007. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by 24 December 2007. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
