- Description
- As part of a market survey, the Marine Corps Logistics Command seeks to identify potential sources for a possible contract to acquire engineering, design analysis and prototype development of components and systems required for support and improvement of all types of weapon systems. Specialized engineering includes technology insertion for improvements of weapon systems, modeling, and simulation of design concepts, trade-off studies, development and construction of prototypes, preparation of system drawing and specifications, and procurement documentation. Design and product development also requires modification of systems, installation, training, and/or transition support as required by Engineering and Integration Section of the Maintenance Center, Albany, Georgia. Should the Government pursue request for proposals, the acquisition will be set-aside under FAR Part 6.302-3 (2) (ii), education al institutions. All data rights will be retained by the Government. Th e Government will require indemnification. FSC: AC44, NAICS: 541330.
