Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to issue a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) modification to MR Popovich and Company, San Diego, CA, under BPA N61339-03-A-0005, on a sole source basis due to only one known responsible source who can meet the short term requirement until the full scope of the requirement can be solicited competitively. The RFP for the full requirement is expected to be issued on or about 07 January 2008. This modification will extend the period of performance for the existing services from 30 January 2008 until 30 April 2008 with an additional two (2) month option. Although more than one source may be able to fulfill the requirement, this would result in an unacceptable delay in fulfilling the Government?s requirement. This BPA modification will provide for instructional support of the Battle Force Training (BFT) Courses consisting of, Over the Horizon Targeting (OTHT-T), Command /Control /Communications/ Computers/ and Intelligence (C4I) System Engineering (C4I SYS ENG) and Common Operational Picture Advanced (COP ADV), and Tactical Tomahawk Weapons System Engineering (TTWS-E). These courses are taught on an instructor-only basis, with the contractor providing all instructional services, student guides and related travel in support of these courses at government facilities.
