- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a firm fixed price order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-05-G-0026 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of kits for repair of the F/A-18 series of aircraft on a sole source basis. The repairs are to the Leading Edge Extension (LEX) portion of the aircraft and for cracks found during FT76 Test Article. The supplies and services to be provided include, but are not limited to; retrofit change kits; installation of kits and spares required to incorporate approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs); support equipment, engineering, data, production prototyping, manufacturing, verification and validation of change kits to retrofit Operational Safety and Improvement Program (OSIP) Changes to delivered aircraft; technical publications for ECPs; OSIPs; and other technical publication updates, as required; and on-site training at contractor factory or Government installation.
