- Description
- The government has issued a solicitation on December 18, 2007 for a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract in Carroll County, Missouri. This construction project is for PL 84-99 levee repairs on the Brunswick Levee. Work shall consist of clearing and grubbing, hauling earthen material, surface preparation, placement of earthen material to restore the damaged levee embankment, and seeding of the restored levee embankment. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The NAICS c ode is 237990 with a size standard of $31,000,000.00. Packets will be made available through either the FedTEDs website at www.fedteds.gov or at the site visit which is SCHEDULED ON DECEMBER 27, 2007 AT 10:00 AM. PARTICIPANTS SHALL MEET AT THE SAM JOHNSON FARMS, INC. SITE FACILITIES/OFFICE, WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE WESERN EDGE OF BRUNSWICK, MISSOURI. SAM JOHNSON FARMS, INC., FACILITIES/OFFICE IS LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF HIGHWAY 11, APPROXIMATELY ONE-QUARTER MILE NORTH OF HIGHWAY 11 & 24 JUNCTION. Please note that to be eligible for award of this project, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the CCR website which is www.ccr.gov. Additionally you must complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORC A) at the ORCA website which is orca.bpn.gov. Solicitations must be received at the Contracting Office by 10:00 AM (local time) on January 22, 2008 in Room 748. Please note that if you are hand delivering your solicitation package, you must enter through security. Any untimeliness due to problems gett ing past security is at the risk of the vendor. The bid opening room (Room 748) shall not be opened until 9:30 AM. The government is tenatively planning on maintaining a bidders list which will be posted t o www.nwk.usace.army.mil/contract/contract.html for this project.
